The My Favorite Muffin® located at 10174 W. Broad Street in Glen Allen, Virginia celebrated their new store opening by supporting the ACCA Shriners Hospital. The Glen Allen franchisees, Sam and Suzanne Makarem, donated a portion of their second week of sales to the hospital’s transportation program.
ACCA Shriners is part of the world-wide Shrine Organization that has, as its philanthropy, over 22 facilities that comprise a health care system to treat children with burns, orthopedic challenges, and many other maladies. They treat all children that fall within their areas of specialty and with no concern for the ability of the family to pay.
